First Blu-ray Disc Reviews |

The first official Blu-Ray player and Discs are finally and officially making their presence known in the market tomorrow. If you can't wait until then, High Def Digest has actually posted reviews of the first Blu-Ray movie discs : The Fifth Element, 50 First Dates, and Triple X (xXx).
So how did it play out? It seems as though the reviewers were mixed, at least in terms of video quality. Apparently xXx was a huge dissapointment, with the writer pointing out a "bunch of dots" on the screen. The Fifth element recieved a decent review, but not decent enough to be top par in terms of HD.
50 First Dates, however, ranked the highest of the three movies in terms of video quality. Maybe thats a hint on which movie you should pick up when you're leaving the store with that Blu-Ray player of yours (if you're gonna get one).
